Welcome, welcome to the ZA Angels live coverage of the Red Carpet at the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. My name is Ellie and I’ll be your host for this special event, alongside my amazingly talented co-host Ayen.

Of course, we can’t forget the two Angels who are live at the scene, our gorgeous and gifted correspondents, Audrey and Dee, give them a round of applause ladies and gentleman!!

So let’s kick this coverage into action, shall we? 

10:00am - First update for the day! Audrey and Dee are waiting in line to be seated (they will be in the front row!) with a pair of nice women who are giving them tips on how to lure the stars over to the bleachers. The weather is brisk, which isn’t helping Audrey feel any better (she’s a little under the weather but soldiering on, what a trooper!) but for the moment, all is well.

10:20am - Audrey and Dee are the spring chickens of the bunch and feeling fabulous in their fashion choices (We’ll let you know what they’re wearing later for tv spotting purposes ) Luckily for them, the entire red carpet area including the bleachers will be undercover, so no frizzy rain hair for these gals!

10:35am - They just signed their souls away to the devil….just kidding, but they did just sign the waivers and gave the broadcasters the right to show them on tv.

11:20am - And down came the rain…but they just received their bracelets (which are like their VIP passes) so Shrine Auditorium, here they come!

12:05pm - They’re on the special shuttle bus which takes them to the bleachers…and the lucky ducks received SAG gift bags with items such as lotion, slim fast bars and a copy of People magazine…no fair, I want one!!

Ok, not an update, but Jb found this pic of the seating chart for the awards…see all those empty seats around Zac? One of them better be reserved for Vanessa! (Thanks to Betty, we found out this screencap was made by one of the girls of Fanforum, see VABN for the link)

12:30pm - Audrey wrote it better than I could so: Going through security and chatting up the guards, taking pics, looking at the red carpet and making friends. Rumor has it there’s some fellow Efron seekers in the crowd! That’s cool for him to have people here supporting him. Although the chumminess ends there if we need to shove a little for our pics!

12:45pm - They’re in!! They got to be on the actual red carpet briefly and are now sitting in the second row…but they’re trying their hardest to get moved to the front!

12:55pm - They did it! Front row seats right near the E! Tents!

1:14pm - To save time, from now on I’ll post Audrey’s email updates directly and we’ll add our own comments if necessary, so: Our new friends promised to help lure Zac over. They aren’t really familiar with him, so we showed them the Details cover and in unison they both go “ohhhhh!” Haha. Its pretty calm here now, no celebs yet and they are setting up flower arrangements, lighting and getting the latecomers seated. We’ve got 3 (yes 3!) Cameras we’re using tonight.

1:52pm - Arrivals are starting, we’ve seen Jay from America’s Next Top Model, a lot of E!’s Giuliana Rancic and Lara Spencer from the Insider….To all the naysayers that we’re here
A) sucks that you’re being so negative when this is so much fun!
B) Dee is the only one w/a camera phone and we’re having tech issues
C) Um, why am I even bothered by haters when I’m @ the red carpet for the SAG’s?!?!? These two girls just did an interview for TVGuide and they were saying they were here for Zac. When the correspondent asked who else they’d like to see the girls were like “Just Zac!” Right on ladies! Rain stopped! The sun is shining and I just got asked to yell into a camera!, Woot!

2:20pm - Still waiting… Its starting to really get energetic around here! Dee is totally swooning for E! Correspondant Ben! Earlier he had came by and Dee blurts out “There’s Ben!” and follows up with “You’re cute!” He waved to her and smiled so big!!!
Ahhh! They are starting to test the loudspeakers to announce who is coming in! Sun’s gone but its not raining anymore! Ok, some of these women’s dresses are fugalicious! I got a pic of a woman wearing literally the same sparkly jacket that Vanessa had on in “Say Ok”. Um…. Negative on that!

2:33pm - Audrey and Dee are starting to get very hyper and can see Joey Fatone and Lisa Rinna on the red carpet.

2:40pm - This is crazy!!! They yell their names so much! We are soooo close! Joey waved… He’s wearing Converse sneakers with his suit?!?! Ra-ra random!

2:45pm - Debbie from E! just came over to talk to the fans. She’s here filling in for Ryan Seacrest. He’s sick & she got called in last night and awww, Jay from ANTM came over and I waved to him! Dee and I got some good pictures.

2:50pm - We’re watching Chandra Wilson from Grey’s Anatomy do her interview and infamous ‘foot cam’ for E! Her dress is so sparkly! Oh la la!

3:00pm - It’s busy here but everyone is doing their interviews. I want to start chanting “We Want Zac!” Hahaha. It’s really sunny now, thanks for channeling those sun rays girls! Appreciate it!

3:08pm - Announcement…Wait for it…They’re saying welcome over the loudspeakers! *cheers*  They’re asking press to go to their posts…they are about to open the red carpet!!!! OMG, I can’t type fast enough!

3:11pm - OMG!!! It’s Amanda Bynes!!!! She looks gorgeous! Ahhh!

OMG, OMG…Amanda’s blue dress is amazing! My hands are shaking. The announcer just said, “We’re gonna go hard for 2 hours let’s get ready!” This is insane, amazing and intense! I wish you could be here! Jenna Fisher from the office is here and so is Nikki Blonsky!

3:17pm - Christina Applegate is here…still can’t get over Amanda wowowowow!

3:22pm - A bunch of peeps from Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Can’t see Nikki yet.

3:29pm - Wow these paps are ruthless! No Zac yet. I can see Ben Foster, he’s a cutie. Loved him on Flash Forward. This is crazy! So much yelling!

3:33pm - Debra Messing and Allison Janney just got here!!!

3:37pm - It’s raining again. John Krasinski from the Office is here. He is such a cutie! Eva Longoria Parker’s here too!

3:46pm - Brittany Snow and Elijah Kelly from Hairspray are here!! Mickey Rooney is here! Tina Fey is in the building! Ellen Pompeo just got here!

3:54pm - OMG, Ashley Tisdale is here!!! The Tizz is here!!!

4:02pm - Allison Janney waved at us!! Ashley Tisdale is right in front of us!

4:07pm - Sandra Oh from Grey’s Anatomy and the entire cast of Entourage is here…no Zac yet, Ahhhh!

4:11pm - Christopher Walken, Ellen Page and Cuba Gooding Jr are here!

4:21pm - BRAD PITT IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4:22pm - ZAC EFRON IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Angelina is with Brad. 

4:37pm - Yeah, no V sorry!

4:53pm - Zac didn’t stop for anyone.  We got pix but he didn’t come sign anything for any of the fans & he got here within 15 mins to the doors closing.

5:09pm - We’re heading home… Don’t be disappointed! Zac acknowledged us when we yelled and threw us the sweetest smile. We were shaking our mags @ him and he saw and kind of nodded his head and smiled over his shoulder at us. *THUD*

5:40pm - One more post before we get home and upload our pics! Dee is a rockstar and shook hands with Ryan Gosling. I on the other hand didn’t think I could handle touching his hotness. I settled on smiling and telling him I loved him in The Notebook. I almost cried when I saw the Tiz. She was so beautiful! We are so glad we went. Yeah, maybe Zac didn’t come over but he acknowledged us, it was very much a ‘I see you hi, I can hear you, hi’ it only makes me more excited to see him again & he has a presence to him that’s very evident. He’s so damn dapper!

You guys are going to die over these pictures! Angie and Brad were right in front of us as well as Eric Dane, Tina Fey, Justin Chambers, Debra Messing, and Sandra Oh. Props go out to Jenna Fisher from The Office, she’s amazing to her fans & hands down a sweetheart.
