After dinner break everyone which includes the rest of the extras that weren’t there during Gabbi’s close-ups are back in the gym. We are handed props to use for the rest of the scenes. Fake camera’s that still flash, pompons, little bull horns etc. Taylor ends up sitting right next to me because of the rearrangement of seats, due to so many extras that couldn’t come back on Sunday. I end up at one point with a pompon and fake camera and Taylor with a small bull horn. We’re told we’re filming the intense end of the game player action scene where EH pulls off the win. It’s the end of the game and it’s tied up. Troy sets up the winning shot for the actor who is playing his younger version. I can’t remember his name and Taylor isn’t around for me to ask, so sorry. Anywho, younger version Zac sinks it in and EH wins the championship game. We the fans go freakin’ crazy and run onto the court where Troy is hoisted up unto the shoulders of his team mates and given the championship trophy. Taylor is told she is one of the lucky ones who get to go rushing onto the floor for the celebration. I will remain in the bleachers. Honestly, I didn’t want to attempt the mosh pit so I happily remained. She on the other had ended up just below Troy, standing next to one of the assistant coaches!I noticed the two of them [Taylor and the actor who is playing Bart Johnson's assistant coach in the movie] making small talk while they were checking dailies on the shot. Hopefully we’ll get to see her on film. I asked her when she came back up the bleachers to shoot the scene again, “Taylor, what were the two of you talking about?” She says “Nothin Mom” and she rolls her eyes. Ughhh teenagers!

As they were filming the intense basketball game between the two teams, (which like I said before the whole thing is choreographed dancing), a crew member walked up to Chris (Zeke) with a plastic cup and placed it under his chin. He hesitated and then shook his head “no”. The crew lady shook her head “yes” and she kept the cup under his chin. He shook his head “no” again only this time with more determination in the shake. And what she did next was hysterical. She reached up and popped him on the back of his head and his chewing gum came flying out of his mouth and into the cup. We died with laughter. As soon as she was out of sight I saw him go over and ask someone else for a another piece of gum. Too funny.

Have any of you seen “Across The Universe” well I haven’t yet. Kenny explains during the movie there is a cool special effects scene where a singer is singing a song at a football game and she is walking toward the camera singing and everything going on around her is in slow motion but she isn’t part of the slow motion? Well, we shot a scene like this with the team and Zac. Zac is walking right down the of the middle court toward the basket and the teams players are crisscrossing directly in front of him and behind him and no one every collides with him, but you think they’re going to. He is singing directly into the camera as he is walking forward. The camera is positioned low looking up to him. It’s really cool and we’re told by one of the production assistants and these are his words, “it’s gonna be bad ass” It certainly looked really cool. 

 We’re also told that everything around Zac including the players crisscrossing and all the fans will be in slow motion, but he won’t. Now they moveon to just filming Zac’s “shove out of bounds” where he falls on his butt. Well this shot was done numerous times as well. Up close, far away, the fast motion version, you get the picture. Well, after all this falling on his bum Zac is getting a little sore. It must have been a lot sore because a trainer guy comes out on the floor between takes with these black pads and he’s talking to Zac. They go through all the pads he’s holding and they find the appropriate size for him. Zac turns around and get this, with his bum facing us. Yes, facing us, and proceeds to pull down the game shorts revealing a very nice set of black boxers, oh yah, I did say that. Sexy black boxers and then he opens the back waistband of the boxers to slide in the butt pad!!! I about fainted and I’m sure the people up top of the bleachers got an eye full. I was so envious. Well, he instantly realized what he was doing and turned around so quick it would’ve made your head spin. Everyone was laughing, including him with a blush. After a few takes he decides he doesn’t like the butt pad and removes it.
